Advantages of Tiamulin :

- Tiamulin is well absorbed from gastrointestinal tract after oral administration.
- Enhances egg production and hatchability.
- Resistance development to Tiamulin by Mycoplasma is very slow.
- No cross resistance with human antibiotics.
Indications :
Aids in respiratory tract infections caused by
Mycoplasma and complicated by secondary infections like Escherichia coli, Haemophilus Spp., Pasteurella Spp.
Dosage:
- Through Water Medication:
- For Prevention :
For Commercial Broilers:
3 g of VENTRIMULIN® 80 % per 1000 chicks everyday for 1 – 3 days in the first week & for subsequent medication on 8th & 9th day and 28th and 29th day at the rate of 15 mg of Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate per kg body weight.
For Commercial Layers:
3 g of VENTRIMULIN® 80 % per 1000 chicks everyday for 1 – 3 days in the first week & for subsequent medication at the rate of 20 mg of Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate per kg body weight on 8th & 9th day and then on 4th , 6th ,10th , 14th & 18th week for 2 days.
For Breeders:
3 g of VENTRIMULIN® 80 % per 1000 chicks everyday for 1 – 3 days in the first week & for subsequent medication at the rate of 20 – 30 mg of Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate per kg body weight on 8th & 9th day and 28th and 29th day and then after 2 days at an interval of 4 weeks up to 68th week.
Note : Birds can be put on the above schedule at any age: In such cases the 1st preventive dose should be double.
For Treatment :
For Commercial layer and Commercial Broiler :
30 mg of Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate/kg body weight in drinking water for 3 – 5 days depending upon severity of infection.
For Breeders:
30 – 40 mg Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate/kg body weight in drinking water for 3 – 5 days depending upon severity of infection.
Note : Mycoplasmosis in later stages is usually complicated by E.coli infections.
Additional medication like COLIS – V™ to cover the gram negative spectrum is recommended for better results.
Through Feed Medication
- For Prevention :
250 g of VENTRIMULIN® 80% per ton of feed for 2 days at interval of 3 – 4 weeks. - For Treatment :
500 g of VENTRIMULIN® 80% per ton of Feed for 3 – 5 days depending upon severity of infection.
Administration:
- Directions for preparing VENTRIMULIN® 80% Medicated Solution :
- Transfer required quantity of VENTRIMULIN 80% Soluble granules, in the bucket.
- Add approximately 2 litres of drinking water.
- Stir thoroughly until dissolves.
- Add this concentrated solution to the drinking water.
- Directions for preparing VENTRIMULIN 80% Medicated Feed :
Make a premix with 5 – 10 kg of Feed or blend with vitamins/mineral mixture before adding to the final Feed.
Contraindications :
Avoid to use simultaneously with anticoccidials like Monensin, Salinomycin or Narasin at therapeutic levels of VENTRIMULIN® 80% as they show dose related incompatibility.
